Movie Review: PUSH

I was very much excited to watch the movie where we see Dakota Fanning now grown up. I have always been a fan of her since I had watched "I Am Sam" where she stars along with Sean Penn as a daughter of a mental retard who battles the fight of custody for his daughter.

Good thing my baby asks to watch a movie and I immediately had Push in mind. Not the movie starts but explaining the different kinds of special powers categorized by an organization and we see the lead as a child with his father while listening to his fathers last words to him, before he is killed.

Im not going into details because unfortunately not much did sink into me about the movie since I lost my interest half way through. I had to say my curiosity to the significance of Dakota's character to the plot was the only thing keeping me interested.

Truthfully I fell asleep during the movie, It wasn't fun watching the lead actor keep getting beaten up all the time and always getting saved by Dakota.

If you have nothing better to do on a Sunday evening or you need to fall asleep, this is your movie, plot is slow and dragging, although i love the uniqueness of how the tag themselves (bleeders, movers, watchers...) and the action is fine, Chinese movie type with all the flyign around. But you are really better off just buying the the DVD.

Yup, baby was right we should have watched the Legend of Chun Li instead =)
