KEYLight Studios: Spacious and Comfortable

Now being a subject of person's camera does expose you to different locations and the most common is the photography Studio.

Last Saturday I had a shoot with a group at my farthest studio so far KEYLIGHT Studios who is co-owned (with his wife) by Sir Gerrick.

Now for me living in Pasig it was quite a trip but actually very easy to locate. If you are coming off South super highway it would take only a few 15 to 20 mins to get to the studio which is located within BF Paranaque, good news that a map is available on their website. Now with this studio put up it is actually good news since Sir Gerrick did state that there are not many available studios for hire within the south. Photographers from Laguna, Alabang and Cavite no longer have to travel all the way to Manila just to rent a studio.

Now the studio itself is located on the second floor of Maria Adela Building which is just opposite Hanakazu Japanese Restaurant. When you get up the stairs you would see glass doors of Black welcome you with the logo.

Me just being the photographers subject I am, I really want to see what the make up and changing room is like. Upon entering the area my co-model and I were greeted by plush sofa's of black and large pillows with Zebra patterns on it. After the journey I was so happy to just take a seat. The ambiance is very welcoming with white clean walls and a stack of magazines which just implies "Welcome and Stay". It was even more happy to see that the make up area was equipped with very large mirrors with light bulbs surrounding, large working area, ample seats, extra table and sockets for electrical devices. It was big enough for 20 models to freely move around. I also loved the fact that time was put in to make a dressing area with dark curtains so you didn't have models dressing up or changing in the restrooms. the restroom was also located within the make up and lounge area. Good thing Sir Gerrick's wife was a MUA so it meant that she really knew what was needed in that area.

Now to the studios, yes the STUDIOS, becuase KEYLIGHT actually has 2 spacious studios to offer and all with available seating space and comfortable seats as well, I particularly noticed the colorful bean bags filled with tiny colored styro balls.

Lights ar ereadily avaialable and set up for use with the help with Sir Gerrick and there are available backgrounds to choose from, and remember if its the white background you are to use, please take off your shoes =)

Both Studios are very spacious so you don't have to worry about tripping over if you are shooting in a group. Studio is well kept and maintained, and of course there is an available pantry.

I would so go back if given the chance due to it being comfortable and the space is enourmous as well very cool indeed due to the air conditioning.

More to the excitement is now that Sir Leo Castillo's Photoworks will be using KEYLIGHT Studios as a new venue.
